video storytelling:
realize the potential

Creating video content benefits any organization focused on the past. Historical societies, preservation commissions, and museums exist as practical content machines. Every exhibit, collection, and object tells a story. Sharing those stories with video offers tremendous potential. A simple video strategy could harness the power of those stories to grow an audience that could easily be converted into patrons. To learn more, please contact using the form on the HOME page.

A virtual audience is out there

waiting to hear from you

For several groups, I wrote and directed full-length documentaries that aired on the local PBS affiliate. The groups then sold DVDs of the program to raise funds. One group provides its video via online streaming for a small rental fee. The Mound City National Preservation Commission's video about the Civil War-era national cemetery may be rented here.
